Terms & Conditions of Sale
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the sale of goods and services by Duetech. By placing an order or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your transaction.
Ownership of Goods
All goods sold by Duetech will remain the property of Duetech until full payment has been made for such goods.Faulty Goods and Returns
- Faulty Goods: Any faulty goods must be returned to Duetech, along with the original proof of purchase (invoice).
- Return Process: Returns for faulty goods must be made within 7 days from the date of purchase for the item to qualify for refund (as indicated on the Duetech invoice).
- Condition of Returned Goods: Items returned must be in the exact same condition as when originally purchased, including original packaging, manuals, driver disks, any accessories, and serial numbers. A copy of the tax invoice is also required for processing the return.
Quotations and Pricing
- Validity of Quotations: Quotations provided by Duetech are valid for a period of 7 days, unless otherwise specified in writing.
- Ex VAT and Delivery Costs: All quotes, proforma invoices, sales orders, and invoices are exclusive of VAT and delivery costs unless otherwise stated. Duetech is not currently VAT registered.
- Currency and Price Volatility: Duetech will not be held responsible for the guaranteed supply or price of products quoted, due to factors such as volatile currency exchange rates.
- Third-Party Suppliers: Duetech does not guarantee the price validity or stock availability for products supplied by third-party vendors.
Return Policy
- Duetech offers a 7-day return policy from the date of purchase. Items returned within this period will be credited if they meet the return conditions outlined above.
- Handling Fee: A handling fee of 20% may be applied to items returned not in the same condition as when originally purchased, with all packaging intact and complete.
- Late Returns: No credit will be issued for any goods returned after 7 days from the purchase date.
- Product Assessment: All returned items will be assessed by a Duetech technician to determine whether they meet the criteria for return and credit. If the product cannot be assessed by Duetech, it will be sent to the vendor or supplier for testing and approval for credit, replacement, or repair.
Data Loss Disclaimer
- Duetech is not responsible for any loss of data. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that all data is backed up before returning or replacing any products.
- No data recovery or data integrity guarantees are provided by Duetech.
Digital Products and Software
- Digital items such as software (e.g., Microsoft license keys, internet security keys, etc.) are non-refundable.
Order Collection and Cancellation
- Goods ordered from Duetech must be collected within 5 days of notification. If not collected and paid for within this time frame, the order will be considered cancelled, and the goods will not be held.
- Backorders will be cancelled if the order is not completed within 2 days after receiving the backordered stock.
Adherence to Terms
- All quotes, invoices, and prices are subject to these Terms and Conditions. Any transaction or correspondence will not be valid unless it adheres to these Terms.
- Duetech reserves the right to change prices and specifications without prior notice.
Warranty
- Only goods purchased directly from Duetech will be covered by 12 months carry-in warranty. All faulty items returned within 12 months after purchase date will be repaired or replaced. Items purchased from other vendors must be returned to the original vendor for warranty or repair.
Errors and Omissions
- Duetech reserves the right to correct any errors or omissions in pricing, product descriptions, or any other aspect of the sale process.
